A Gorgeous Summer Wedding in Sydney

Posted by Joe Button on

It's always a great moment for us when we do a range of custom shirts for a wedding and see the photos from the big day for the first time. Beyond what we did for the groom and groomsmen in terms of custom shirting, we were so delighted when we saw the photos from Min and Patrick's wedding because it was very obvious that it wasn't one of those stiff, over the top, bridezilla-controlled weddings - everyone was having fun, looked completely relaxed (captured perfectly by Welsch Photography) and the couple was beaming from ear to ear, laughing like no one was watching for the entire day.

When Pat approached us about getting custom shirts for himself and his groomsmen, he wanted everyone to have the same white shirt with a monogram of the groomsmen's initials. With his own shirt, Pat wanted the monogram to be M&P (Min & Patrick) in script font to be placed on the lower left panel on the shirt - a very sweet finishing touch to a classic choice.

After a week of rain (thanks to Sydney's sporadic summer), the weather on the day was miraculously perfect with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony in the morning, games to "torture" the groomsmen and a reception at Deckhouse in Woolwich Dock. Min looked (beyond) stunning in a dress by 93 Bridal with make-up by Martha Mok. The couple then jet off in style on their honeymoon to the Maldives.

Thanks again to Min & Pat for letting us be a part of such a perfect day! Congratulations on your beautiful marriage. x
